We remember what is important to us … plain and simple.
You know why most of us forget our reusable bags? Even though we say we want to help the environment and use less plastic, in truth, it’s not on our top 10 of most important things in our lives. We say it is, but to be really truthful, it isn’t is it?
So, what to do, what to do? Well, for starters, it’s time to move reusables to the top of your “things I must do/remember” list. So, here’s the first hack.
Going shopping?
- If you won’t leave home without your keys, cell phone, or whatever, take an extra 2 minutes to see if you have at least one reusable bag with you. Get in the habit of placing these items together before you leave home.
2. File this one under, DUH! When making your shopping list, write reusable bags at the top of the list! What could be simpler? No, really!
3. Place a reminder tag around the rear view mirror … or … on the door knob closest your normal exit location before you leave your house or apartment.
