One of the posts I continue to get traffic on every day (here) is about PETA and why so people dislike the organization.
I understand the emotional component of wanting to spare unnecessary pain to animals. I don’t understand mean and childish pranks that generate media attention and little else, which is typically how PETA operates.
These two videos are a case in point! Let’s just call this, now you see the monkey Peta got upset about and now you don’t! It seems Dodge Auto Company recently found itself in PETA’s crosshairs after it aired a commercial starring a monkey dressed up like Evel Knievel.

ta da! This is how Dodge fought back!

Need I say more? Actually the 2nd commercial is so funny, it might actually make me consider a Chrysler product!
Larry:
How can you not get it?
The anger most people feel about PETA has to do with their methodology not their message. There are a host of legitimate reasons for people to lessen or eliminate most protein that comes from animals. The PETA message is rarely heard because of their arrogant, sophomoric approach.
PETA needs to hire me. I’d show them how to get their message out and get results.
Now all they get is ridicule!
